The Dollar is the Colonial Commonwealth's national currency, and was the United Earth Alliance's national currency. It is a fiat currency.

The United Earth Alliance adopted the American dollar as the global currency when it was formed. The dollar has minted coins and printed paper bills. Each is a different size, shape and color, designed to make it easy for even a sightless person to identify the money by touch.

  • Penny - The penny is a coin worth 1/100 of a dollar. It is round in shape, minted from nickel, and colored silver. It is 20mm in diameter. The obverse side of the coin is stamped with XX, and the reverse side of the coin is stamped with XX.
  • Nickel - The nickel is a coin worth 1/20 of a dollar. It is shaped like a triangle, minted from nickel, and colored green. Each side is 20mm. The obverse side of the coin is stamped with XX, and the reverse side of the coin is stamped with XX.
  • Dime - is a coin worth 1/10 of a dollar. It is round in shape with a hole in the center, minted from nickel, and colored blue. It is 20mm in diameter. The obverse side of the coin is stamped with XX, and the reverse side of the coin is stamped with XX.
  • Quarter - is a coin worth 1/4 of a dollar. It is round in shape, minted from nickel, and colored red. It is 25mm in diameter. The obverse side of the coin is stamped with XX, and the reverse side of the coin is stamped with XX.
  • Half Dollar - is a coin worth 1/2 of a dollar. It is round in shape, minted from nickel, and colored purple. It is 30mm in diameter. The obverse side of the coin is stamped with XX, and the reverse side of the coin is stamped with XX.
