Luna Black
Luna Black (born December 18, 2012) was a genetic experiment to mate a human conciousness to a machine processor. She was the EI known as Luna. Years later, Lucius Black opened Luna's casing and discovered her inside. He gave her the name "Amelia Black" and raised her as an Omega agent.

[edit] Birth
The eccentric but brilliant engineer, Miles Hlow, began creating the EIs in 2006, when he set up the permanent base on Luna, the moon of Terra. Luna was the youngest of the EIs, and was raised to understand the concepts of long-term strategy, deep space navigation, and colonial sciences. Hlow hoped to expand to the stars using "sleeper" ships, and Luna was meant to be the core of the slow-ship fleet.
[edit] Exile
The Hlow family fell out of favor with the United Earth Alliance government, and they moved to the Mars colony, where Josiah MacArthur Hlow continued his father's work. After the First Exodus War, Hlow saw an opportunity to fulfill the family dream of forging new frontiers, and he volunteered his three EIs to run the exile fleet. Hlow himself accompanied the exiles in what became known as the First Exodus.
[edit] Second Exodus
Hlow's plans failed to come to fruition, and his intellect was put to work by Lucius Black in designing cold sleep chambers and hyperspace drives to return to Terran space in what would become known as the Second Exodus.
During this lengthy return journey, Lucius Black opened Luna's casing and discovered that Luna was actually a human, though a genetically and surgically altered one. During the capture of Grolk Kyhra, Black removed Luna from her chambers and told Hlow that the EI had been destroyed.
[edit] Daughter of an Emperor
Knowing he would be found out if she kept her real name, Lucius Black renamed Luna "Amelia Black", and raised her as his personal agent. Luna was trained by Lavik and Jarek Nighthawk in the arts of killing. "Amelia" became the most adept student at espionage, sabotage and assassination.
[edit] Conclave
When the Empire collapsed in 2324, Lucius Black told Luna to begin going by her real name again. By this time, Luna was a deadly killer, ending lives without mercy or regret. Lucius Black decided to give Luna the opportunity to lead the Omegas.
Lavik Nighthawk was summoned to the secret headquarters of the Conclave. Lavik was ordered to hand over the names and contact information of all Omega operatives to Luna. Then Lucius sent Luna and Lavik Nighthawk to the capital city of Sepulare, with orders to kill each other. The survivor would be in command of the Omegas--assuming they weren't caught by the Space Police.
Luna not only passed the test, she humiliated Lavik Nighthawk and the Space Police. She shot Lavik in broad daylight--shooting him through the heart in order to leave his well-known face intact--with dozens of witnesses and ten Space Police officers present. Despite the immediate effort to find and capture her, Luna evaded detection completely and returned to the Conclave.
[edit] Betrayal
When Lucius Black surrendured the Conclave to the Meroniri, he betrayed all of his followers. Most were captured by the deadly Aseta Joreno, but Luna Black led a starship to safety, with the help of Emil Torsc.
With nowhere to turn, Luna went to the Prefecture, and requested asylum. While many war criminals in the Omegas were imprisoned, Luna and Torsc were allowed to join the Prefecture.
Today, Luna leads the elite Legion Corps organization known as the Army Hunters.
