National Symbol of the Onyx Empire

The wolf was chosen as the symbol of the Onyx Empire by Lucius Black. He often said "I will be as a wolf among their sheep", when talking about his plans to overthrow the United Earth Alliance.

Lucius Black chose the wolf's paw as the symbol to cover the Onyx Empire's flag. He also briefly considered keeping wolves as pets in the Imperial Palace in Memphis, but abandoned the idea because he felt it would be irritating to deal with the mess and he was not particularly fond of animals.

When he formed the Alphas and the Omegas, Lucius Black gave them the wolf's head as their symbol and badge of office.
