Premier of the United Earth Alliance

The office of Premier was equal in power to the President, but was shared among different worlds. Each world within the United Earth Alliance had a Premier, and together all of them had the same powers as the President. The Premier of Earth acted as the figurehead for the office, and for all intents and purposes was the Premier of the United Earth Alliance.

The office of the Premier was first shared between the former President of the United States and the Premier of the Soviet Union, but was quickly expanded to include the heads of state of each joining country. The office was soon altered to be one Premier per world, as the United Earth Alliance rapidly expanded into space.

The Premier held office for a term of five years, and a limit of a single term. Electronic elections were held on June 30th, and the winner was sworn into office the following day. Premier's term in office was staggered with the President's. The Premier of the United Earth Alliance was elected by a simple majority. Anyone could run, and anyone could vote. Election campaigns often had hundreds of candidates, though only a few were considered "serious contenders" at any given time.

During the Second Exodus War, the United Earth Alliance continued to exist as a provisional government on Theia in the Titan System. During that time, the Premier of Theia was the only head of state of the Alliance. The office of President was never used again after the death of Fernando Meliazio.

• Lawrence McNichols - Premier of Theia, served from 2313 to 2318. Noted for being head of the Provisional Government during this time.
• Alain Fournier - Premier of Holt, served from 2313 to 2315. Noted for surrendering to the Onyx Empire.
• Chetram Singh - Premier of Tejat, served from 2313 to 2315. Noted for surrendering to the Onyx Empire.
• Leonid Shevchenko - Premier of Bethija, served from 2313 to 2315. Noted for surrendering to the Onyx Empire.
• Barbara Dannins - Premier of Theia, served from 2318 to 2323. Presided over the official dissolution of the United Earth Alliance.
