In order of their distances from Proxima Procyon, the planets are Cherkasy, Donetsk, Bethija, Volisk, Rivne, and Lviv. Three of the planets are orbited by moons.

Proxima Procyon is the Proxima Procyon System's star. Proxima Procyon is a G2V yellow dwarf, almost identical to Sol. Proxima Procyon orbits the binary Procyon A and Procyon B duo at 25,000AU, which keeps planets in Proxima Procyon's orbit a comfortable habitable zone.
Along with light, Proxima Procyon has a relatively weak heliosphere, which does not deflect cosmic rays as well as other stars in its class. This causes local navigation sensor anomalies, and many starship captains have steered around objects that weren't there.
The Proxima Procyon System is located in the Milky Way galaxy, in the Orion Arm. The Sol System, Alpha Centauri System, and Tau Ceti System are considered close neighbors of Bethija.

Cherkasy (0.05AU) is a tiny planet barely outside Proxima Procyon's stellar atmosphere. It is an irregular ball of rock, and will probably disintigrate or fall into Proxima Procyon in a few thousand years.

Donetsk (0.8AU) is a rocky ball rich with minerals used in manufacturing composite materials. It also has a thin nitrogen/oxygen atmosphere--too thin to breathe--and is an ideal candidate for terraforming. There are several permanent domed cities on the surface. It has one moon, Odessa

Bethija (1.2AU) is the main colony world of the system. It is a balmy, moist world, with 85% of its surface covered by oceans. It has one moon, Kharkiv

Volisk (2.5AU) is a small, Mars-like world. It is very cold, but has a relatively thick carbon-dioxide atmosphere and some plant life. It has frozen water oceans, but huge resevoirs of liquid water under the surface. Volyn has no moons.

Rivne (6.1 AU) is a large gas giant, approximately the size of Saturn. Rivne has an unusual double ring system, covering its equator and its poles. Rivne has 78 moons.

Lviv (7.3 AU) is an average size gas giant, a little smaller than Rivne. It has a thick methane atmosphere with a lot of slushy water ice in the atmosphere. Lviv has 12 moons, and is home to the Antonov Company's extreme environment testing centers.
[edit] Discovery and Exploration
Bethija was colonized in 2027, using funds and colonists from the Soviet region known as the Ukraine. After World War III, the Soviet Union joined the United Earth Alliance, and the regional economy in the Ukraine collapsed. With no opportunity on Terra, many opportunists raised the funds needed for a colony project. Nearly 30 million Ukrainians were moved to Bethija over the years.
Bethija was a lawless colony for many years, with socialist and democratic elements vying for control of the colony. Eventually the United Earth Alliance took over the colony and stabilized the planet. Bethija became a prosperous world, trading with the Alpha Centauri colony and establishing a robust interstellar economy.
During the Second Exodus War, Bethija defected to the Empire without a fight after hearing how well the people of Ah Kin were treated. After the United Mesarthrim Clans invaded Bethija in the late years of the Second Exodus War, they gave the planet independence. Bethija eventually joined the Colonial Commonwealth.
