Cildeng System

The Cildeng System consists of the star Cildeng, its planets, their moons, and the asteroids.

In order of their distances from Cildeng, the planets are Cildeng I, Cildeng II, Torimur, Cildeng IV, Cildeng V, Cildeng VI, and Cildeng VII.

Cildeng is the Cildeng System's only star. Cildeng is a class G4V yellow dwarf. The Cildeng System is located in the Milky Way galaxy, in the Orion Arm. Cildeng is part of the Sol Sector.

Torimur (1.04AU) was once inhabited, but is now a desolate radioactive wasteland.

[edit] Discovery and Exploration

The Cildeng System was discovered by Jerome Black, who named every object of value in the planet after himself in some way. Most names were taken from his wife Aydan's central-Asian heritage: the star was named Cildeng, meaning "jet black" in Aydan's native Mongolian. The main colony was named Torimur, meaning "black and shiny."

While the Cildeng System resulted in the rise in wealth and power of the Black family, it was largely meant to be a free world: the first Terran colony free of the rule of the United Earth Alliance.
